Research report with Intel

Our product´s ability to purify water from everything, even nanoparticles, is nothing new to us, but the market is constantly amazed by our ability. What has perhaps generated the most attention lately is our products’ ability to purify water from PFAS.

PFAS, or “Forever Chemicals” as they are also called, have received a lot of space in the media. They have been called the DDT of our time and are a collective term for about 5,000 different chemical compounds that have been used since the 50ies to create non-stick and durable surfaces. Teflon is a very famous application of this chemical. PFAS do not break down in nature but accumulate in living matter. It is estimated that 99% of all people on earth have this in their blood, which in high concentrations can lead to, among other things, reproductive difficulties and cancer.

Our product was tested against these chemicals in a highly publicized test carried out by the Swedish University of Agriculture, SLU. This test shows that our products remove more than 99% of these chemicals.

The semiconductor industry is a large known source of PFAS in the world, so within this particular industry the news was so great that Intel’s EHS Manager for EMEA, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has written a research report together with us. Together with Intel, we will present this research report at a semiconductor conference in Phoenix at the end of September 2022. This is incredibly big for us, as it is unusual for a company like Intel to choose to appear with a relatively small and unknown company like Xzero.
